Yes. It is a free government service on GOV.UK. Be wary of companies that charge to find a pension you can trace yourself.
Will the tracing service tell me how much my pot is worth?+
No. It only gives scheme contact details. You contact the scheme to confirm membership and value.
What if my old employer closed down?+
Workplace pensions are held separately from the company. The pot should still exist. The tracing service or The Pensions Regulator can help identify what happened to the scheme.
